On April 30, 2009, Utah Heritage Foundation kicked off its third Annual Utah Preservation Conference with the Utah premiere of Los Angeles-based "histo-tainer" Charles Phoenix and his Retro Slideshow Tour of the USA!  We held the event at the Salt Lake City Main Library in the Nancy Tessman Auditorium, and we hope everyone enjoyed it!

Education Sessions

Our Education Sessions covered a variety of topics from preservation experts in our community. Some sessions are accredited for continuing education credits by the American Institute of Architects (AIA)  and American Planning Association (APA).  Sessions were held at Fort Douglas, in the Officer's Club, Honors College Center, and Commander's House.

Utah Preservation Conference Sponsors

Utah's largest convocation of historic preservationists - those who own and treasure historic structures; those who work in architecture, design, structural engineering and the building trades; government officials; and those who simply love history - is only possible through the generous support of the following sponsors. Each listing is linked to that sponsor's website (when available), where you can find out more. Our deepest appreciation to the sponsors of the 2009 Utah Preservation Conference!
