Nominations are open for the 2009 Heritage Awards! Utah Heritage Foundation is seeking nominations for its annual Heritage Awards honoring excellence in historic preservation throughout Utah.  The purpose of the Heritage Awards is to recognize those projects, organizations, agencies, and individuals that exemplify the highest standards within the preservation movement. Utah Heritage Foundation distributes and accepts nominations from December through January for projects completed in the previous year (2009 awards honor projects completed in 2008). We are seeking Education Sessions that highlight models and strategies that conference attendees can apply in their own communities. Sessions that present multiple case studies or solutions to specific preservation problems are of special interest, as are sessions built around preservation in Utah.
