Eduard Dreier

When Eduard Dreier moved to Utah in the late 1940s, he immediately pushed the form and materials of residential design to new lengths.  His training in the architectural schools of Zurich, Switzerland as well as in the top firms there as an apprentice exposed him to the language of the Bauhaus roots and European modernism.  Using light, structural expression, and prominent sites, his structures demonstrated new expressions in Utah that had previously been seen only in magazines.  With a flare for vividly detailing buildings and a philosophy for perfection, Dreier pursued excellence for every client for a career that evolved over nearly 50 years.
