Utah Preservation Conference

Modern Ideas | Historic Places Join us Utah Heritage Foundation's 2009 Preservation Conference

April 30 - May 2

cp-mouseearsresizeAs we host our third annual Preservation Conference, Modern Ideas | Historic Places, we take a local perspective on a global challenge. Linking our most recent generation of historic sites and structures, those that our fathers built, with those that our grandfathers built.
With newer buildings come new opportunities. That's why Utah Heritage Foundation is taking a look at our strategies for connecting the public with the amazing breadth of architecture we are fortunate to have in Utah. You'll be able to engage in a few education session specifically targeted at preserving modernism. Since modernity swept the country after World War II you can find a little piece of it in every city and small town. It went beyond architecture into interior design, automobiles, fashion, and culture.
