When you join Utah Heritage Foundation you become
an important part of Utah 's only independent
statewide voice for historic preservation.
Our historic buildings and neighborhoods matter.
They enrich our lives by their constant, quiet
presence and educate us about who we are and where
we came from. Our culture has shown a remarkable
ability to destroy important elements of our physical
heritage. Utah Heritage Foundation constantly
works to advocate for this heritage, to remind
us all that there is wisdom in conservation. Our
whole society benefits from the careful preservation
of our best buildings.
People become involved in historic preservation
in a huge variety of ways, from the loving restoration
of a front porch, to taking school children on
a tour of a historic monument, to a campaign to
save an important public building. Utah Heritage
Foundation exists to help people preserve what's
important in Utah .
We need your help. Our members are the backbone
of our organization. They give us clout with elected
officials, provide critical funds for our operations,
and lend a hand on important issues. |
