The lessons in Utah Heritage Foundation's teacher's guides use historic buildings as springboards for exploring a variety of topics in Utah history and architecture.  Use our teacher's guides to build a whole unit around your field trip to a landmark building or to augment an existing unit with an examination of Utah 's historic architecture. The lessons utilize a variety of primary historic resources that help students develop critical thinking skills and promote literacy through social studies.
