The Kearns (Utah Governor’s) Mansion
This presentation introduces students to the history of the mansion and the live of the families who lived there. The program can stand by itself or help prepare students for a tour of the mansion.
Main Street, Salt Lake City
Students learn about the history of Salt Lake City by exploring the buildings along Main Street and the lives of the people who constructed them.

Ghost towns are a reminder that, despite the determination of settlers, towns can fail for a variety of reasons. This program explores several Utah ghost towns and their role in our heritage.
Slide Presentation Availability
Utah Heritage Foundation slide presentations are available year-round, Monday through Thursday, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please schedule your presentation at least three weeks in advance. All the presentations can be adapted for 4th–12th grade audiences and last from 30–45 minutes. We recommend the programs be presented to groups of no more than 35 students.
